The prints that we offer in our online auctions do not come from our stock - we have none - but from real consignments by collectors, dealers and artists. You pay only for what we sell - a commission on the hammered price. There are no other fees involved. And we pay fast (typically within 2 weeks) and return unsold items fast or give them a second chance.
PS: A shipment from the US or Japan to us (Germany) is completely uncomplicated - WE handle all import procedures.
Consignments to artelino
February 2010: Mr. Zhang Liufeng, an established Chinese painter and printmaker has finished two new oil paintings. They are available for artelino clients for a very, very attractive price.
New Oil Paintings by Zhang Liufeng
After the death of Robert O. Muller in 2003, the finest part of his collection was bequeathed to one of the most renowned museums in the world, the Arthur M. Sackler Gallery of the Smithonian. More than one year later, the collection is shown to the public for the first time. Kit Publishers/Hotei Publishing prepared the official catalog for the exhibition.

"A print is considered more valuable than a sketch from which it is made - this is not just die to the mechanics of collection, but to the special woodblock quality - a textural beauty impossible to obtain by any other medium. The flatness and unity imparted by the medium, as well as the special, intensity of color obtained in the 'something added' which enhances the original sketch. Any comparison of sketch to print will show this clearly."
